Natalie Leonard

I am currently in my sophomore year at Davidson College in North Carolina, and I plan to graduate in 2023 with a bachelor of science in psychology. This portfolio is a compilation of my artwork throughout high school, the earliest work being specific assignments for classes. I work mostly with pen and ink, watercolor, and oil paint. My photographs were taken on my iPhone and with drones during a summer program in New York. I enjoyed exploring the theme of fragility this year, through drawing and paintings of intimate familial moments, through childhood and old age. Part of this theme included the emotions that come with pivotal life decisions, as well as the physical fragility of nature.
